Eastabrooks came to Kogarah, Sydney NSW in 1928 and spoke at the Mecca (then Victory de Luxe) Theatre.
When Martin Orne from the CIA came to Sydney University in 1960 it was associated with St George Hospital in Kogarah NSW. This included the School of Psychology and Australian TV censor Professor Psychologist Peter Sheehan. In 1967 they created Pacific House a Psychiatric Clinic as part of St George Hospital as well as a trauma unit.
