The primary goal of harassment is to induce & sustain prolonged periods of extreme stress, ultimately forcing the individual to commit a violent act, such as suicide or murder, which can be credibly denied, thereby ensuring the operation’s success. Based on analyses of coordinated, long-term harassment campaigns, often referred to as organized stalking, the objective is to systematically dismantle a target’s mental health, social support networks, & professional life. Key aspects of this objective include inducing prolonged stress through tactics like surveillance, gaslighting, & orchestrated events. Additionally, forcing a violent act or suicide is a primary goal, often achieved by pushing the victim into despair. The harassment is designed to be difficult to prove, often appearing as mental illness or paranoia to outsiders, thereby ensuring plausible deniability.
Isolation & destabilization are also crucial, aiming to ruin the target’s reputation & credibility, making it challenging for them to report the behavior without being perceived as unstable. Research into workplace bullying & stalking confirms that such behavior causes severe psychological pain, including feelings of entrapment & worthlessness, known precursors to suicide & reactive violence.
