Duty Description
• Responsible for all aspects of developing oversight and management of DoD sensitive program.
• Supports the integration of DoD program and capabilities across the Department and the Intelligence Community (IC) and advocates for the requirements and resources necessary to support DoD and National requirements as applicable.
• Develops the program management plan for specific program(s) assigned and ensures coordination and compilation of requirements throughout DoD.
• Responsible for the development of oversight policy in direct respect to program(s) assigned ensuring appropriate oversight to meet DoD warfighting requirements.
• Identify and develop lessons learned in relation to assigned program(s) to improve Intelligence Community requirements and programming.
• Responsible for coordination across internal OUSD(I&S) organizations and external organizations to include Joint Staff, OUSD (Policy), and AT&L, in addition to Combatant Commands, and Combat Support Agencies.
• Provides recommendations to the C&SP leadership for resolution of significant problem areas.
• Develops, coordinates, and supports implementation of strategies, management practices and DoD internal controls to improve organizational and operational effectiveness.
• Represents the Director, H&SA, in DoD, IC, and interagency committees, steering or working groups, conferences or other meetings relevant to the assigned program(s).
• Serves as the DoD representative for future requirements and capabilities by establishing and maintaining coordination with key stakeholders in the IC.
• Prepares and provides reports, briefings, and assessments; and makes recommendations to explain essential elements of complex programs and issues to senior civilian and military authorities within the Department and the IC.
• Writes and coordinates materials for briefings to senior leaders throughout DoD and IC.
