“America’s New Slavery;” “Jose Collazo” Interview w/ Rob McConnell & Excerpts

Webmaster’s comment: For a variety of reasons, it is hard for me to take this interview seriously. These include: 1) Jose Collazo (a pseudonym for Gilbert Roman), purportedly a former baseball pro, construction worker, and author of “America’s New Slavery” does not sound particularly well-educated or intellectually-inclined at all. Similarly, the interviewer, Rob McConnell, spends half his time and energy ridiculing and dismissing Collazo’s information. Was this project a CIA misdirection, discreditation, or “limited hangout” operation? Was it an innocuous way for the CIA to leak this information even while discrediting it? Is this an example of military-intelligence “IIA,” or Interactive Internet Activities? Is this the devil’s servants’ required confession of what they are doing to us? Or are the claims wildly exaggerated? I don’t know. Certainly, the interview seems highly scripted.

Nevertheless, the information presented in this interview and in Collazo’s books about remote brain imaging and brain reading seems to be critical to understanding “the technology” deployed against targeted individuals. And the agencies named (DARPA, DoD, CIA, NSA, NRO, Honeywell, etc.) seem to be the main agencies/defense contractors involved in developing and testing these technologies on civilians (aka “targeted individuals” and others). Hence, I include a transcript of excerpts of the interview and a link to the interview itself.

Rob McConnell Interviews – Jose Collazo – America’s New Slavery (August 7, 2021)

Jose Callazo (real name, Gilbert Roman?!), is purportedly a former baseball player and construction worker (?!!!!!) who authored “America’s New Slavery: FMRI Technology! Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging! Or America’s Salvation? All Americans Should Be Concerned!” (2010) and its companion piece, “America’s New Slavery: Behind the Scenes and Updates” (June, 2010).

“America’s New Slavery” (version 1 above) description from Amazon.com: For over thirteen years I have documented my attempts to track a technology that allows the US government to read our thoughts. FMRI is one name but they can hide files in all kinds of ways. I am very concern about a technology that allows any person or group to invade our last temple (our brain). Old Venice history stated that no one person or group of persons could hold absolute power. The power and decisions must fall to all the people. This is why I raise this issue. How could Bin-laden attach us. How have they been using this technology and how are they going to use this technology in the future. The people must get involved and start questioning our leaders on this issue. Do your own research and do something to protect our civil liberties, now.

”America’s New Slavery” (version 2 above) description from Amazon.com: More evidence has been found to prove the existence of the technology that reads our thoughts. New investigations have been started on other technologies and issues. Tyrants will always find a way to abuse and enslave, It is up to the people to keep watch and say, “Oh no, we will have no more of this, this very day. –Jose Collazo, June 2010

Excerpts from Interview:

Collazo: Researchers have proposed reading thoughts remotely. Two Canadian researchers, Sheena Lou and Tom Chau, specializing in Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology, published the following paper Feb. 2009 in the Journal of Neural Engineering. The paper is entitled: Decoding Subjective Preference from SingleTrial Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Signals. They report an 80% accuracy rate of identifying a person’s thoughts remotely.

Paper title and abstract:

Decoding subjective preference from single-trial near-infrared spectroscopy signals. by Sheena Luu, Tom Chau

Journal of Neural Engineering 2009 February

Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) has recently been identified as a safe, portable and relatively low-cost signal acquisition tool for non-invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) development. The ultimate goal of BCI research is for the user to be able to communicate functional intent directly through thoughts. In this paper we propose an NIRS-BCI paradigm based on directly decoding neural correlates of decision making, specifically subjective preference evaluation. Nine subjects were asked to mentally evaluate two possible drinks and decide which they preferred. Frequency domain near-infrared spectroscopy was used to image each subject’s prefrontal cortex during the task. Using mean signal amplitudes as features and linear discriminant analysis, we were able to decode which drink was preferred on a single-trial basis with an average accuracy of 80%.

Jose Collazo (real name: Gilbert Roman) states he has done 14 years of research on this topic and has filed five FOIA cases in a US District Court. These include:

1) Roman V. DARPA (Case # 09-5633)- 183 pages withheld – proves they (government) can read thoughts and read thoughts remotely
2) Roman v. NRO (Case # 09-2504)- re: fMRI imaging, one technique used in remote brain reading, NRO gave no response to several requests
3) Roman v. NSA (Case # 09-2947)
4) Roman v. NSA, CIA, NRO (Case # 09-4281)
5) Roman v. CIA (Case # 09-3344)

He reports that DARPA, NRO, NSA, CIA were non-responsive to his FOIA requests and that 183 docs were withheld from him.

Collazo: This brain imaging technology is proceeding so fast, and there are no guidelines. I ask for processing forms as a way to trick these agencies into giving me information.

McConnell: What is your evidence that the technology to read people’s minds exists?

Collazo: On page 6 of my book, I quote a DARPA document that states:

Neurotechnologies for Intelligence Analysts (NIA):

“The vision for the Neural Technologies for Intelligence Analysts Program is to revolutionize the way that analysts handle intelligence imaging, increasing both the throughput of imagery to the analysts and over-all accuracy of the assessment. Current computer-based target direction capabilities cannot process visual volumes of imagery with the speed, flexibility, and precision of the human visual system. Investigations of visual neuroscience mechanisms had indicated that the human brain is capable of responding to visual objects significantly faster than individual’s visual (modem?). The NIA program seeks to identify robust brain signals that are admirable (word?) to recording in an operational environment and process these in real time to select imaging worthy of further review.”

Other phrases in the document include: “Demonstrating neural stimulus tactical feedback, and “create interface capabilities.”

“The Human-Assistant Neural Device Program (HANDP) will develop the scientific foundations for understanding the language of the human brain for applications of a variety of emerging DOD challenges, including improving performances on the battlefield in returning active-duty military to their unit. This requires understanding of neuroscience, significant computational efforts, and new material design and implementation. Key advances expected from this research include the ability to improve decision-making in a variety of applications…..

Collazo: My ultimate goal is to make the public aware that this technology exists. We need to know how, where, when, and why this technology is being implemented. (Because) anyone with this (secret) technology could do whatever they want. If it’s not made public…. how, when, where and why it’s in use.

McConnell: What’s the big deal? If you have nothing to fear, you have nothing to worry about.

Collazo: Nobody has nothing to worry about. (We have to be aware of) human nature in general. If there is nothing to worry about, why don’t they release the documents and prove me wrong? But everything they do is lies and they misplaced my paperwork.

McConnell: Where is your proof that there is such a unit that is being used to read the minds of the American people?

Collazo: It’s everywhere. If you take an analyst. Here’s a press release from Honeywell Technology to help the military analyze and keep truth out of harms way.

“The Honeywell image triage system will enable Department of Defense personnel to analyze intelligence images six times faster than current computer-based (…) through the high-tech sensors, the motor signals in human brain. Honeywell is developing this system as part of DARPA’s newer technologies of Intelligence Analysts Program.”

Do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Why does nobody come forward to clarify this? The technology is all over the world. It’s in Germany, Russia, China. This is no secret. It’s like when they developed the nuclear bomb. The US had it first but then other countries got it. In fact, I’m protecting our civil liberties and our Constitution.

No publishers would touch the book, so I had to self-publish it.

McConnell: So do you think we are slaves to the government?

Collazo: This technology, if not reviewed and if not made public, and allowed to proceed without review… God only knows what they’ve done, who’ve they’ve monitored. In the book, “Spies, Lies, and Whistleblowers” two ex-British intelligence agents, came forward and said there were illegal actions going on in the intelligence community to the point where they had to leave their jobs out of moral compunction.

There are evil, corrupt people everywhere. If these technologies… if you go into the accelerated learning programs, and if you go into fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging), they even have a company, No Lie MRI. Companies are already screening their employees with this new technology.

Webmaster concluding comment: I have not yet had a chance to read this (these) short books, the first is 120 pages and the second is 174 pages long. However, I believe that this is valid information, albeit, presented in such a way as to raise questions regarding its validity and doubts about the author. Ergo, while this interview “feels” like an intel op, the information may be of critical importance. However, given that this has many ear-marks of an intel op, there is also the possibility that the “information” Collazo presents is also intended to mislead. Such is the world we (TIs) live in; a world of “lies, spies, set-ups, and pysops.”

One last observation: I have learned through observation and experience that three classes of individuals typically utilize pseudonyms (fake names). These include Jews, spies, and eastern religionists (Hindus/Buddhists, etc.) and New Agers. One person may easily move across different social and cultural strata deploying fake names. Of course, there is a long tradition of writers using pen-names as well. Joe Collazo is a fake name…. Perhaps Gilbert Roman is another fake name.
