TruNews is to be commended for doing this program, the one that follows and eventually the documentary. I recently learned about the horrific attack by Israel on the USS Liberty and decided to buy ‘Attack On The Liberty” by James Scott. I am 3/4 of the way done and highly recommend the book (I’ll have to look into ‘Erasing the Liberty’ as well). I like Matt, was shaken as I learned of the gruesome details of what happened the day as I read the very detailed account of the Israel attack penned by Mr. Scott. I literally had to put the book down and wait a day or so to continue reading as it was just too much to stomach. I cannot even fathom the sights, sounds and smells etched in the memories of these men who survived this day of infamy.
And what makes it even worse was the outright lies of Israel and the pandering of the US Govt to Israel to keep the “peace.” Israel was even so arrogant to blame the US for the attack.
To the survivors, it may be small consolation, but you are not forgotten, nor or the men whose lives were lost. May God grant you peace.

Att: Tru News… one of the possible reasons the zionists attacked the Liberty is because the Liberty had intel on Israeli war crimes against Egyptian POWs backed by recorded Israeli radio traffic.
The Liberty had intel on one Israeli, Assaf Yaguri a Colonel and Commander of the 190th Armored Brigade in the 67, 6 day war. Assaf was accused of slaughtering Egyptian POWs by driving his tanks over them to save ammunition. Assaf was traded for over a thousand Egyptian prisoners to keep the story from coming out. How do I know, I was stationed in Cairo during the 1973 war. If it wasn’t for US satellite intel Israhell would have had Egyptians in Tel Aviv or had to use its nukes. Then the USSR would have had to lauch a couple of their nukes into Hell Aviv.

I would like to point out that the Governor of Florida is in Israel today on Memorial Day. I am not surprised, he supported not allowing a plaque honoring the USS LIBERTY to be put in a local veterans park. Because it stated the Liberty was attack by Israel.
